Reasons why it's the best:

No more guessing about placement, this flange makes it easy for the installer to find the exact location for the toilet. The flat edge clearly shows the proper rotational position of the flange since it will be parallel to the back of the toilet tank. The reusable cover has clear markings showing the centerline location for proper setback of the flange from the finished wall. The cover further includes raised tabs onto which a measuring tape can be secured.

Stable bolts with disposable extendable sleeves

1. A. Each bolt having a brightly colored disposable sleeve which extends upwardly along the toilet fastener bolt for ease in aligning the toilet base opening with the toilet fastener bolt high above the floor.
2. B. Toilet perfectly positioned by having flat edge parallel to finished wall surface.
3. C. Stable erect bolts quickly threaded to clear stopping point. No more unstable or improperly rotated fastening bolts and no more plastic push-on bolt stabilizer rings.
4. D. Fastening locations spaced further radially from central riser opening for greater stability.
5. E. Break away openings for ease of future maintenance.

Reusable cover with fastener storage

1. A. Reusable cover that can be removed and reattached multiple times. Blocks debris from entering the riser pipe opening.
2. B. For purposes of rough-in inspection the cover is readily removed and replaced multiple times as water is added to the drain system.
3. C. Elevated tabs act as backstops for a straight edge to verify parallel position to wall and further as hooking locations for a measuring tape.
4. D. Recessed pry locations to assist in releasing the cover from the flange.
5. E. Storage location for nut, washer, fastening bolt and extendable sleeve, all that is needed to secure the toilet to the floor. Noting that the extendable sleeves protect the bolt threads during storage.

Maintenance slot and anchoring square nut

1. A. Anchoring square nut provides much greater surface area contact with underside of flange allowing for greater tensile force along toilet fastening bolt and thus greater holding force of toilet base to the floor.
2. B. Maintenace slot provided for future exchange of the anchoring square nut if desired.
3. C. Frangible element blocks debris from entering the maintenance slot during the construction phase but is readibly removable to open the maintenance slot.
